Inaugural Fashion Business School Research Showcase

Yesterday evening we celebrated the rich, diverse and multidisciplinary research within the Fashion Business School. Related to our four guiding pillars – Purpose, People, Planet and Profit, and adopting the dynamic Pecha Kucha format, we heard about sustainable cosmetics, hair science, fashion aesthetics, cultural appropriation, education and AI, sustainable finance, fashion and wellbeing, and the future of fashion retailing. A huge thank you to all researchers that participated @emmanuelsilva @akhadaroo @dankatamburic @jrogaten Gabriela Daniels, Young-Jin Hur, Lan Wang, Serkan Delice and me 🙂 With around 50 attending IRL and others via livestream, we were delighted to highlight the range and impact of FBS research with our internal community. A showreel will be produced for onward use on our website, at research events and opening evenings. Looking forward to making it an annual event!
